This 4WD safari adventure tour offers a unique experience, allowing you to explore the highlights of both Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks over three days. You’ll have the chance to discover stunning natural landscapes, including monsoon rainforests, cascading waterfalls, and pristine plunge pools.
In the Top End, you can find various native plants and animals. The Mary River wetlands, which we will explore by boat, are home to the world’s largest reptile, the saltwater crocodile. At Ubirr, you can see some of the world’s oldest and best-preserved Aboriginal Rock Art. This camping tour provides full accommodation. After exciting and adventurous days, you can comfortably relax indoors each evening. You can stay in twin-share safari tents for more comfort, privacy, and security or try out our traditional swag experience with a canvas-enclosed bed roll.

During a three-day tour, we visited three iconic locations – Uluru, Kings Canyon, and Kata Tjuta.
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987 due to its remarkable geological formations, unique flora and fauna, and stunning natural beauty, which the international community has recognized.
A tour guide will take you through the Red Centre, providing detailed commentary and revealing ancient stories, myths, secrets, and hidden gems.
The tour offers comfortable twin-share safari tents or a traditional swag experience.







Trips to Uluru Itinerary
Day 1: Alice Springs / Yulara - Uluru
From either Alice Springs or Yulara (Uluru Airport), we begin our journey towards Ayers Rock (Uluru). Along the way, we stop at Mt Conner’s lookout, which offers breathtaking views of this remarkable red mountain. Before reaching our campground for lunch, we briefly stopped at Curtin Springs for a restroom break. Please note that this lunch arrangement only applies to guests from Alice Springs; guests from Ayers Rock must find their lunch before joining the tour.
We visited the Red Centre’s cultural centre to learn about the park’s significance. We were amazed by the size and beauty of Uluru. We hiked to the Mutitjulu waterhole and discovered rock art sites. We heard ancient creation stories and continued walking to Kuniya Piti. We drove to Kantju Gorge and saw sacred sites. We saw the highest waterfall in Central Australia. We ended the day with a stunning sunset view of Uluru and dinner.

The hike distance is 2-3 km and takes about 2-3 hours.
Lunch is only provided for those departing from Alice Springs.
Those collected from Ayers Rock must find their lunch before joining the tour.
Day 2: Uluru - Kata Tiuta - Kings Canyon
We wake up early for a light breakfast. Then we go to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to see the sunrise. Kata Tjuta is even more magnificent than Uluru. We hike through the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge and admire the massive rock formations. After exploring Kata Tjuta, we go to Kings Canyon. We arrive just in time for another beautiful sunset. Finally, we enjoy a hearty meal around the fire at our camp.
Day 2 Highlights of the trip to Uluru:

The hike distance varies from 2-6 km and takes 2-4 hours, depending on the weather.
Day 3: Kings Canyon - Uluru / Yulara or Alice Springs
We started to explore Kings Canyon, a significant landmark in Watarrka National Park, which is situated in the traditional lands of the Ulpanyali and Lilla people.
Please remember the necessary hiking items, such as a hat, water, and sturdy hiking shoes. We will explore the canyon on foot, surrounded by tall cliff faces reaching heights of over 100 meters, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the distinctive sandstone chasms.
After a rest, our journey concludes as we return to Yulara or Alice Springs, our final destination.
Day 3 Highlights:
- We will journey through the remote Central Australian countryside from Kings Canyon to our final destination, Alice Springs or Yulara/Uluru.
- Visitors can participate in guided walking tours at Kings Canyon Watarrka National Park to gain knowledge about the rare native flora, fauna, and geology of this unique location.
- You can end your journey in either Alice Springs or onward travels.
The itinerary includes breakfast and lunch, a driving distance of 250km (equivalent to 2.5 hours), and a hike distance of 2-4 km that takes approximately 2-4 hours.

Important Notes
- Mandatory passenger details that are required when booking include; date of birth, dietary requirements and phone number.
- We do our best to cater for most dietary needs and/or food allergies, however passengers MUST notify the tour operator of any special requirements or medical conditions at the time of booking.
- Hiking included in this tour requires a moderate/ advanced level of fitness and a doctor’s certificate is required for people over 70 years (30-days prior to travel). The walks vary from each day from 2km to 4km, often over steep rocky areas and in direct sunlight with high humidity. An approximate total of 9-11 kms walk is included throughout the 3 day tour. Hiking is always embarked on at the guide’s discretion to ensure safety of passengers.
- Children between the ages of 8 to 17 years old must be accompanied at all times by an adult or legal guardian and must stay in private twin rooms. This tour is not suitable for infants or children 7 years and under.
- Private rooms are available on request and subject to availability.
- Our vehicles have limited storage space, therefore baggage must be kept to 1 x 15kg travel bag and 1 x 5kg day bag.
- This terrain is unsuitable for mobility impaired travellers with wheelchairs, walkers, prams or strollers.
- This itinerary is interchangeable and may vary to accommodate seasonal weather conditions and fluctuations or park closures due to ceremonies or events held by traditional custodians.
- Occasionally sites within the parks close or do not allow swimming for safety purposes. We plan accordingly to make sure our guests always have the best experience possible on tour.
- Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, cleaning up and the loading/unpacking of the vehicle.
